details of the information that we may collect from you and how we may use that information.

6S Global have over 25 years’ experience in Security, Business and Data Intelligence. We are a full
journey solution provider who take projects from blank paper design through to full implementation
delivery.
Our expert leadership team has competencies across a full spectrum of technology solutions,
Security Audits and Gap Analysis to protect Assets Which makes us a truly independent specialist
ensuring the best and most appropriate Security, Business and Data Intelligence solution is

Our in-house team has expertise in vast array of technologies, Security understanding and
Legislation making us truly independent with the ability to deliver both local and global projects.
We are an Intuitive company that Listens, challenges and thinks outside of the box. Our Approach is
different, and delivery of our services is Simple, structured and Comprehensive. We just happen to
make good coffee.
In order for us to provide you with a proposal, and deal with any questions or complaints that might
arise, we need to collect and process data about you. This makes the relevant 6S Global company a
‘data controller’. In this notice we use ‘we’ or ‘us’ or ‘6S Global’ to refer to the organisation acting as
data controller of your information.

2 What personal information do we collect and use?
The personal information that we collect will depend on your relationship with us. We will collect
different personal information depending on whether you are a
6S Global Customer,
Request for Proposal via Website
Register for offers or events.
Post comments on our website.
Participate in discussion boards or other social media functions on our website.

In certain circumstances we may request and/or receive ‘sensitive personal information’ about you.
For example, if it is relevant, we may need security vet you provide you and require details such as of
any unspent criminal convictions you have for purposes such as preventing, detecting and
investigating fraud.

information we are likely to collect and use about you in different circumstances.
2.1 Personal information
General information such as your name, who you work for, Business address, contact details.
Information which is relevant to your business and projects.
Financial information such as your bank details, payment details supplied to us for payments.

Your marketing preferences and details of your customer experience with us.
2.2 Sensitive Personal Information
Additional information may be collected if a Vetting process is needed. This information is only held
for a short period of a week where data is destroyed. No personal information is shared, just a
simple pass of fail system. You can request a phone call to discuss within the first week of
Acceptance or refusal.
Information relating to criminal convictions (including offences and alleged offences and any court
sentence or unspent criminal conviction).
Information we obtain as a result of checking sanctions lists.
Other information (including publicly available information) obtained as part of our due diligence
checks.

3 How do we Collect your Information?
We collect personal information from several different sources, including:
directly from you;
publicly available sources such as internet search engines, news articles and social media sites;
other companies within the 6S Global Group;
third parties who provide us with details of individuals who have expressed an interest in hearing
about our services.

4 What are the purposes for which your information is used?
We may use your information for a number of different purposes. For each purpose we must have a
'legal ground' to use your personal information in such a way.
When the information that we process is classed as 'sensitive personal information', we must have a
specific, additional 'legal ground' to process such information.

you. For example, we need to use your personal information to provide you with a quote or to
provide a Proposal and Project Plan. We will rely on this for activities such as assessing your
Requirement, managing your account and providing other products to you.

5 Who do we share your information with?
6S Global Limited doesn’t sell your data to third parties and only provides them if this is absolutely
necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with legal obligations.
We make a processing agreement with companies that process your data for us to ensure the same
level of security and confidentiality of your data. 6S Global Limited stays responsible for this
processing.

6 What marketing activities do we carry out?
We may use your personal information to provide you with information about products or services
which may be of interest to you where you are an existing customer or where you have provided
your consent for us to do so.
We are committed to only sending you marketing communications that you have clearly expressed
an interest in receiving. If you wish to opt out of marketing, you may do so by clicking on the
'unsubscribe' link that appears in all emails or telling us when we call you. Otherwise you can always
contact us using the details set out in section 11 to update your contact preferences.
Please note that, even if you opt out of receiving marketing messages, we may still send you service
related communications where necessary.

7 Retention period of your data?
We will only keep your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the relevant
purposes set out in this notice.
6S Global Limited doesn’t keep your personal data longer than is absolutely necessary to realise the
goals for which these data were collected.
People with whom there has already been contact with regard to business purposes and that are
already aware of our privacy policy:
The data of these contact people will be kept until an opt-out has taken place or until they have
asked to be removed from the databases.
6S Global Limited keeps your personal data until 4 years after you have unsubscribed from our
newsletter and other direct marketing updates. This is to map the results of our communication
channels on the one hand and to improve our communication based on the market feedback on the
other hand.
People with whom we would like to discuss a business opportunity and that we haven’t contacted
yet. These are people that we would like to contact by phone, email, video call, LinkedIn, emails etc
These people will be kept in our database for a maximum of 60 days and will be deleted if there
hasn’t been any business contact or direct marketing consent during those 60 days.
Job applicants:
The following applies to people that registered for a vacancy:
Name, email address, job area of interest and the reason for termination of the application
will be kept for 3 years to keep you up-to-date on other interesting vacancies at 6S Global
Limited that fall within your area of expertise.
Resumes will be kept for 1 year after the application process.

We use a range of organisational and technical security measures to protect your information,
including firewalls and access controls, which we review periodically. We also ensure that our
employees receive appropriate data security training.

hold about you. There will not usually be a charge for dealing with these requests. You may exercise
these rights at any time by contacting us using the details set out in section 12.

in some cases, we may not be able to comply with your request (for example, where there is a
conflict with our own obligations to comply with other legal or regulatory requirements). However,
we will always respond to any request you make and if we can't comply with your request, we will
tell you why.

anymore, you can unsubscribe at any time through the unsubscribe section in each email of 6S
Global Limited.

If you are under 16 years of age
If you are under the age of 16, you may not have an account on the Service. We do not knowingly
collect information from or direct any of our content specifically to children under 16. If we learn or
have reason to suspect that you are a user who is under the age of 16, we will unfortunately have to
close your account.
